Map of South-Eastern Europe

SEEDOX.ORG is an initiative formed at the 7th GOEAST FILM FESTIVAL to explore and analyze the situation of documentary film in Southeast Europe. The website is aiming to strengthen the idea of networking and coproductions in the region with information on the recent history and impact of documentary film in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo.

PROVIDES
− analysis of documentary filmmaking in Southeast Europe from the 1990s to the present day
− a database offering a selected filmography
− addresses of producers, festivals and institutions in the region

HIGHLIGHTS
− views on contemporary documentary filmmaking in Southeast Europe
− basic conditions in the region: screening situation, funding, subjects, public interest
− the relationship between “Europe” and the “Balkans”
