Sarajevski gudači / Sarajevo's quartet

A film about four musicians born in Sarajevo, who, in conditions of a besieged town, encourage the citizens by their playing, induce resistance of spirit against aggression, powers of hatred, evil and destruction. The film is in fact a documentary portrait of four brave artist fiddlers, realistic and objective. Their playing reminds of the days of besieged Warsaw in World War II, when Chopin's polonaise was constantly broadcasted over the public address system.
