Film Profile
VRELA KRV / HEATED BLOOD
DOUBLEFEATURE
An investigative documentary in which Marko Mamuzić examines the structures, ideology and popularity of Serbia’s far-right nationalist movement. Interviews with extremist activists and their victims are juxtaposed with footage showing attacks on the US Embassy or on anti-fascist demonstrations, assaults on Roma or gays and lesbians, as well as of the Belgrade mosque after it was set ablaze. The focus trained on the self-assured leaders of the movement also includes their links with the Orthodox Church, whose representatives openly propagate homophobia and anti-Semitism. Shocking and instructive.
