Film Profile
Pasqyre, pasqyre / Mirror, mirror
A 26-minute documentary film Mirror, mirror is about the image of women on Kosovar Television, which explores, challenges and reflects the way women are represented in the media. The underlying belief that is being promoted is that is being sexy and beautiful as a woman automatically leads to fame, adoration and prosperity. In today's society, we witness how young girls imitate what they see in the media. Through exploring this issue in depth, this film wants to expose the roots and the causes of this. Following several teenage Kosovar girls and how they are influenced by the portrayal of women on TV, the film demonstrates how this representation affects young girls and women.
