The film deals with a tragic event that happened in 1948 after the defeat of the Democratic Army of Greece. Particularly, the film describes the exodus of children fugitives from the Aegean part of Macedonia, which in 1948, after the defeat of DAG are expelled from their homes and country all over the East-European countries. Through the heart-breaking stories of the participants of that shameful event who live in Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania and other countries and they haven't seen even their closest relatives for many years, the film expresses the tragedy that happened to those children.
