NATIONALE FILM ARCHIVE OF BOSNIA UND HERZEGOVINA

The National Film Archive of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Kinoteka Bosne i Hecegovine) was founded in 1994, and derives part of its holdings from the Yugoslavian Film Archive. The National Archive collects and stores film stock and data collections of historical, artistic, cultural, pedagogical or academic importance. Archived prints encompass both domestic and international productions. As well as organizing public screenings, discussions and conferences, the institution issues publications with the aim of publicizing cinematic culture. goEast is presenting eight short films from the National Archive’s repositories and also, in a special presentation, the current work of the Sarajevo-based video artist Šejla Kamerić.
