RĘCE DO GÓRY / HANDS UP!
Ten years after graduating in medicine, the former students meet up again. One face is missing – and a group of friends decide to visit its owner, who is now a physician in the countryside. Travelling by freight train they joke about the consumer goods they long for, then move on to the subject of their youthful idealism, how it vanished under Stalinism. The last film shot by Skolimowski inside the People’s Republic, nominated for the Mostra in Venice, banned in 1967.
