DOCUMENTARY AWARD “REMEMBRANCE AND FUTURE” ON TOUR

THE DOCUMENTARY AWARD “REMEMBRANCE AND FUTURE“ aims to honour directors, who critically analyze social developments and its reasons in their countries of origin, and thereby point out cross border perspectives. In fall 2011 the series will take place for the fourth time at different locations in Germany and one stop in Central or Eastern Europe.

Two documentaries which competed at the festival earlier this year will be presented in Zagreb and Berlin respectively Frankfurt and Leverkusen: at first, this years documentary award winner KONIEC LATA (The last day of summer) by Piotr Stasik and secondly, GORELOVKA (Gorelovka) by Alexander Kviria that received the Award of the Federal Foreign Office 2011. The films will be shown in the presence of the filmmakers, followed by comprehensive filmtalks.
